Wow! We've been incredibly busy...at home and I've been insanely busy at work lately! So therefore I haven't written in a while. Geez where to even start...
Cortlyn's birthday parties went well, she got lots of great presents and had a really great time. She started school on the 20th and she loves it...she got the teacher she hoped and prayed for all summer long, so that really made her happy! She's back in full swing with dance and gymnastics, she thought about trading gymnastics for cheerleading but she decided to stick with the gymnastics "one more year" (so she says)!
I've ventured into new territory as well...PTO mom! I went to my first meeting last week and I was really pleased (the control freak in me was doing flips)! I'm somewhat ashamed to say that Cortlyn is in 3rd grade and this is the first year I've joined....but it's complicated! Those that know me well, understand this more!
Collier is growing like a weed and has decided that he is going to be a football player when he grows up! They hold peewee football practice literally in our backyard and he sit out there with D.H and watches intently! He loves to run and do push ups (like the boys) and yell! It's honestly hysterical! I'm thinking he'll be some type of defensive lineman because he's really into tackling! Collier has also decided that we are going to take the potty training journey and I might add that he is doing really well. We're about 50/50 most days, definitely a long road to haul but at least we are there!
D.H. and I have become the typical hometowners--going to the football games on Friday evenings! It's so weird to look down from the stands at the cheerleaders and think...I was there! I haven't quite perfected the role...but I bought a Neosho Football shirt and I've worn it to both games...if that tells you anything! Again those that know we well...will find this funny!
Fall is on it's way...my favorite time of year! Great weather, Razorback football (GO HOGS!), craft fairs, Thanksgiving and then Christmas! I truly love this time of year and looks like we will be one busy family! I'll try not to stay gone so long...til then...

Going to the football games, huh? Makes me wish I was closer to go... I think it'd be fun! Brings back memories though.... maybe you and DH can get a babysitter and go out to the "plant" one night after the game. Oh wait... I think they tore it down!!!
Remembering all this makes me miss you more!
