Pumpkin Festival at Shank Farms!

For two years now we have taken the kids to this quaint little farm outside of town to pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. It's one of the few family traditions we have created with our children and D.H (dear husband) and I really enjoy partaking in this trip. We got up bright and early Saturday morning and headed to Shank Farms where the kids picked pumpkins straight from the vine in the pumpkin patch. What started out as just a pick your own pumpkin patch as transformed three years later into an all out festival! It was gorgeous, the pumpkins, the flowers, all the great decor, and the crafters out with all their great items. We had a great time, the kids were a little hesistant to get down and dirty in the pumpkin patch, but with a little coaxing from mom and dad they gladly found pumpkins that suited them both. And of course I took lots of pics! Have I told you that I Love Fall!
