I'm Pregnant!!!

If you'd like an explanation for my absence at the blog lately, this is it! I have felt so miserable lately that I barely have the energy to shower, let alone blog! But things are looking up and I'm happy to start sharing my good news with everyone...so surprise, I'm having a baby!

Obviously I've known for sometime now but you can never be too careful about sharing such important news. Probably half of the reason I haven't blogged in so long was for the fear of just spilling my guts! Alas the time has come to shout it out! We are so very excited and feel extremely blessed that God has entrusted us a second time with such a gracious gift! D.H. and I couldn't be happier about expanding our family.

Cortlyn and Collier are also very excited to welcome a new sibling into the home. Cortlyn's requesting a sister and Collier well he's still not quite sure what to make of this entire situation. We are going to make sure that he understands and enjoys the experience of a sibling as much as possible. It's a big deal for him, even though he probably doesn't quite get that now!

I'll be posting some more about recent (or not so recent) activities that we've been having here at our house...again sorry for the absence!
