The 2C's of Parenthood: The Taylor Swift Concert!

We got Cortlyn Taylor Swift concert tickets for her birthday back in August and this weekend was the Big Event! I took Cortlyn and her friend Brooklynn to Tulsa Sunday to see the show and wow was it great! We arrived at the hotel in time for a fun swim in the pool and then we rushed off to get prettied up for the show. Brooklynn's mom had made the girls the most adorable shirts to wear and they just looked fantastic! As we walked towards the venue the girls were just awe struck at the size of the crowd...there wasn't much convincing needed for them to stay close! We found our seats easily after a stop for some tshirts and sno-cones and then we were ready! There were two opening acts, the first was Gloriana which is a fairly new group but I've heard a couple of their songs on the radio so that was fun. The second act was Kellie Pickler, the girls were excited that they actually knew who was singing so they got into her set! And then the main attraction...Taylor Swift! Let me tell you, she puts on one heck of a show! I mean wow! She was on stage for nearly 2.5 hours, as excited as the girls were, they were getting pretty tired towards to the end. But it was an awesome show, she's a fabulous performer and I know the girls had a great time! Of course getting to miss school Monday was a great perk to the whole experience as well! They had so much fun and I did too seeing their little faces light up and listening to them sing along with Taylor to their favorite songs!
